Protein Mug Cake Recipe

3.30pm Monday Snack Attack! This is high in protein, super filling & low in processed sugars! Introducing my new favourite… Peanut Butter Brownie Mug Cake.

I used the @nakedharvestsupplements Thrive 'Peanut Butter Brownie' Plant protein which gave this it's epic rich PB chocolate taste!


  • THRIVE plant protein from Naked Harvest Supplements (I used the Peanut Butter Brownie flavour)

  • Baking powder

  • 1 egg

  • Milk of choice

  • Vanilla essense

  • Nut butter

  • Rice malt syrup (or sweetener of choice)


  1. Mix 1 serve of Thrive protein with 1 tsp baking powder in a mug

  2. Separately whisk 1 egg

  3. Add egg, 1/3 cup of milk (any type), 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1 tsp nut butter & 1 tsp sweetener (use rice malt syrup or maple syrup) into the mug.

  4. Mix together.

  5. Microwave for roughly 1 min, stirring every 15 secs until mixture rises & is a cake consistency.

  6. enjoy while hot!
